Margarita Sotelo, MD
HS Clinical Professor
After completing Internal Medicine residency in 1998, Dr. Sotelo practiced as Hospitalist in academic- and non- academic- affiliated hospitals in northern California, Washington State, and New Zealand. In 2007, she pursued fellowship training in clinical Geriatrics and joined the Division of Hospital Medicine and Division of Geriatrics in 2009. Her clinical interest is in improving the care of hospitalized elders. She is one of two geriatricians staffing the Acute Care for Elders unit at ZSFG.
