Jonathan Duong, MD
Associate Professor
Jonathan Duong is an Assistant Professor in the UCSF Division of Hospital Medicine. He is a graduate of both the UT Southwestern Medical School and UT Southwestern Internal Medicine Residency Program in Dallas, Texas. He continued to complete the Academic Hospital Medicine Fellowship at UCSF.
He currently spends his clinical time between UCSF and St. Mary's Hospital as a medical ward attending, direct care hospitalist, and ED Triage Hospitalist. He has a strong interest in medical education, developing curriculum for the Clinical Microsystems Clerkship, Diagnostic Reasoning block, and CODA. He also is part of a working group that is standardizing care for alcohol withdrawal within the hospital transitional care units, which has received the Caring Wisely Grant, awarded by the UCSF Health System. He also directs the Faculty Development Program for the UCSF/St. Mary's academic hospitalists.
