Catherine Devoe, MD

Assistant Professor

Dr. Catherine DeVoe cares for patients with infectious diseases and provides primary care for patients with HIV. She has a special interest in patients who are immunocompromised from organ transplantation or cancer treatment.

DeVoe's research focuses on diagnosing and treating infections in immunocompromised patients. She is interested in medical education, and she teaches medical students, residents and fellows in both classroom and clinical settings.

DeVoe earned her medical degree from the Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. She completed a residency in internal medicine at New York – Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center and a fellowship in infectious diseases at UCSF.

In her free time, DeVoe enjoys hiking, running and reading novels, and she dislikes cooking.
